C

ommunity Security Initiatives that were discussed and voted on at the annual general meeting in March are now in place.

Vehicle reflective stickers (illustration at left) are now available at the Treasure Cay Police station.

This Vehicle permit is approved by the Treasure Cay Police and paid for by your TCPOA. It is for residents of Treasure Cay only.

This permit is part of the security measures voted on at the TCPOA AGM in March 2005. The permit is reflective at night and will be an important tool in the police and security staffs continuing fight against potential crime in Treasure Cay.

IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A PERMIT:

Please show identification.

Proof of residency such as deed may be necessary if your name is not on the list of property owners. If your information is incorrect please fill out the form below with your updated address in Treasure Cay as well as your foreign contact information. This will be entered in the TCPOA and Amenities databases.

PLACEMENT OF VEHICULE STICKER:

In order to have some consistency please:

  1. Place one sticker on the OUTSIDE-TOP CENTER of your front windshield.
  2. Place the second sticker OUTSIDE BOTTOM LEFT of your rear windshield. (Drivers side).
  3. ALSO PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR TWO STICKERS HAVE THE SAME REGISTRATION NUMBER AT THE BOTTOM.

If you are not yet a member of the TCPOA please join as this organization is essential to the many projects in our community such as this one. The TCPOA is staffed with unpaid volunteers who have been working for your benefit with woefully small amounts of funds. The cost is $100.00 annually or 27.5 cents per day.

Forms for membership in the TCPOA are in the community library.

Home stickers (illustration at left) are also available at the Rose Mary Roberts Library for a cost of $5.00 each.

AMERAS are now in place and running at the “Haste Ye Back Gate” and at the corner of Treasure Cay Drive and Windward Beach Drive. The cameras are alarmed and have a one month recording capability as well as remote collection capability via the internet. Sgt. Freeman Johnson was responsible for the installation and will be available for access of video for investigations by the Police. Please pick up you resident vehicle stickers soon as they are reflective and show up on the cameras.

EWARD HEIGHBORHOOD WATCH POSTERS are now laminated and will be on display in the community before long. Please support your Condo association board in creating a neighbor watch program that can be added to others in the community to cover the entire area of Treasure Cay.
